Gsxr Front end swap (82 gs650g) and schooling me on geometry

Just bought some new age GsXR 750 forks. Now, I have searched and searched and found a few options when I modify the front end for the GSxR converion (in the case the 06-10 USD forks) it will drop the front significantly.
-fork extensions (i.e. adding length through the caps)
-longer fork tubes (the fixed part of the front end)
-modify steering stem

I will be putting in the allballs fork conversion kit, and I understand that it drops the front end... Quite a bit. However how will this change the steering geometry/handling? Usually not for the greater good. Either stock length shocks or longer length rear shocks.

Im looking for a little basic help in the geometry/handling of dropping the front and (very slightly) raising the rear.

Yes, the modern forks are generally shorter even much shorter than the original ones...

The good news with shorter fork legs is that you will decrease the rake typically by one degree for every inch you drop the front end.
This will make the bike far more nimble than what it is today.
The problem is the ground clearance both riding straight and in the bends.
From my personal experience is it both very costly and ineffective to try to extend the fork tubes as with the "new" triples the rake will increase too much.
