I have exhausted all my search smarts and gave up. I cant find this number anywhere. does it exist.

Fork oil level for a 1985 gs1150.

Use 115mm. That's measured from the top of the tube down to the surface of the oil (i.e. you're actually measuring the air gap) with the spring and spacer removed and the fork leg fully compressed.

My notes show to top off until 114mm from the top, I wrote it down so I would know the level when I replaced my oil in the forks.
