"full floating"
Are the stock brake rotors on my '82 11e floating or "full floating"?1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red
2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.Tags: None

Semi-floating? I guess not.
They appear to be one piece of metal bolted to the hub, even though the inner part is black.

The exact same brake system technology. The only difference is the GSXR racebike is much more worn and loosened up. At speed, when both are spinning at thousands of rpm, they act the same and have the same alignment/drag.Originally posted by Rob S. View PostSemi-floating? I guess not.
