    Fork upgrade on Gs 750 build

    Hey there guys
    I have a frame up build with my 79 gs750.
    i will be looking to upgrade the forks and front brake setup
    my options are either 82 Gs 650 forks with sonic springs and emulators. Or gs1000 37mm with sonics and emultors.
    Bigger diameter tubes and less fork flexing worth it?
    also will hopefully be upgrading to salty monk Cbr/Kawi twin pot brake setup too

      Don't forget a fork brace, helps keep the forks from flexing and work as a unit.

          I would think you'd be hard pressed to notice the difference between the 35mm and the 37mm fork all being equal...

                  Yes, the upgrade is worth it. I transplanted a complete set of GS1000 forks onto one of my 750s and they are noticeably different bikes to ride.

                  You'll need a 30x48x13 bottom steering bearing - which is commonly found on some Yamaha models, in particular the SRX600.
