    Another Sonic Spring thread

Doing the entire suspension upgrade this week. Have put on new Hagon shocks on the rear and am ready to do the front end.

My concern is whether I have the wrong springs or not. I bought the 1.1 but am now thinking I should have gotten the 1.0..... Will it make a drastic difference or is it something that I will learn to get used to? Will the 1.1 be way too stiff or not?

    Thanks
    Larry

Your weight and riding style would be a big help in determining the answer to your question

After meeting him and watching him ride a couple of weeks ago, I would say they are both "adequate AND advanced".

Larry, set the preload correctly and stick with 10w oil, you should be fine.

Geared up for riding, I will hit around 210# -- when I get the opportunity I like to ride aggressively. Not much opportunity unless I leave my home area though.

Steve, not quite sure how to take that.

What I meant was that your gravitational attraction was a bit more "advanced" than the typical 160-pounder for which the bike was probably designed, and your riding style was also a bit "advanced", certainly a bit more than mine.

No offense intended there, just stating that your weight and riding style would both justify the stouter springs.
