torque link bolts on rear swingarm 1980 GS550L

I repainted the torque on the rear of my bike.

I think the link pivots slightly on the two bolts that hold it to the caliper and the swingarm. I wonder if I should paint the pivot bolts shoulders that it seems to pivot on or if I should leave them unpainted since it seems the paint will just wear off?

Also should these bolts be lubricated before reassembling?

Hopefully nothing moves when it's all together.

Go ahead and tighten/paint to your heart's content, no lubrication is necessary.

If the torque link mounts to the swingarm then there is no movement once everything is in place. If the link mounts to the frame then there will be movement as the swingarm pivots.

On a 550 the torque link mounts to the swinging arm. The only time there is movement is when you adjust the chain, and then the movement is minimal. I put a touch of grease on my pivot polts, but it's not necessary by any means.
