Front brake needs to be squeezed HARD to activate brake light...advice?

When you turn the ign. on, does the tail light, brake light, or both come on??? If the brake light comes on, when you activate the brake, there will be no difference in the light.

Tape a plastic baggie around the bars and under the switch before disassembly. Stick the screw driver thru the baggie to remove the switch. This will catch the U shaped contact, spring, and the black plastic thing when they fall out of the handle. And as was stated above, a dab of grease will stick the spring into the black plastic thing when reaseembling.

Brilliant!!!!...will do. ( Because I know i will drop the entire assembly and it will fall thru the cracks in my decking where I wrench )
