Thanks for bringing attention to the banjo bolts. Looks like my double banjo bolts are OK in both sets however the singles are too short. I guess I'm going to email him and see if he can swap them out with some slightly longer ones. Between both sets there are about a dozen bolts and I would like to use the new ones over old. When you have to torque them enough to crush the washers I'm not very comfortable with just 4 threads into aluminum. As far as the ends for the GS1000 set they are 45 deg. on one end and 0 deg. for the 2 caliper lines and the master cylinder line has 15 deg. and 0 deg.Originally posted by Kiwi Canuck View Post

I just got a set for my GS650E and the single banjos are same as Sandy's, very short.
I cleaned my old ones up, dipped them in Metal Restore for 24hrs and then used the buffing wheel for a final cleanup, came up nicely and I feel much more comfortable with the extra threads.

I never did get hold of Raymond about the banjo bolts. I was lucky that the old ones where basically as new on both bikes and just need a quick wipe with a rag and a spritz with some brake cleaner so i used them with the new washers, would have used them even if the new ones where the right length.Originally posted by Kiwi Canuck View PostI just got a set for my GS650E and the single banjos are same as Sandy's, very short.
