    Replacement Shocks buyer's info

Rode my '78 GS1000 to Chicago and back, (150 miles each way). bottomed out the stock shocks more often than i wanted. what should i look for in specs? Thanks in advance!

FWIW my bike's mostly stock except the chopped back of the frame replaced with a loop and the seat's a skateboard converted to a brat seat.

I have a set of Hagon 13" shocks that were on my daughter's bike before we bought shorter ones for her. Let me know if you want them.

Next question after price should be "spring rate?"

His daughter is on the "petite" side.

I'm 160 lbs and sometimes take a rider. Were these springs selected for 140 lbs or is it a standard spring with three pre loads?

To be honest, I cannot answer that question as I bought these originally when Z1 was selling the Hagon shocks before Hagon USA stopped operations. I told them her set up and based on that they provided these. I'll try to contact Z1 on Monday or Tuesday and see if they can look at my previous orders to help answer that question (can't today due to how my work day is supposed to play out).
