    GS850 stem nut

    Here is a picture of my steering stem. See that the choke actuator body is the only thing acting as a lock nut for the upper steering stem. Is this right?

    Isn't there a large nut under the upper triple holding the steering stem in place?

      I think it is #9 in the exploded view.

        Part #23 holds the stem
        Part #9 just holds down the top triple clamp
