    GSX 750 EF front tyre - 100/90 or 110/90 r16?

Getting close to having my 750 EF on the road so it's time to buy tyres.

Thanks to the GS Resources hive mind, I've settled on the Pirelli Sport Demons.

Stock sizes are 100/90-16 front and 120/90-17 rear.

The Sport Demons come in 130/80 for the rear, and either 100/90 or 110/90 for the front. The PO had 120/80 on the front but I reckon that's a bit wide for the 2.15 rim.

So, stay with stock (100/90) or go slightly wider (110/90) to match the slight width increase on the rear?

Sorry to post another tyre size question I went back over previous posts, but the 16-inch front seems a unique case.

I'm glad no one has replied. I was cleaning the rims and noticed that I had my wheel sizes all wrong! I had looked up the sizes online and got the above. I had only paid attention to the 120/80 and 130/80 on the current tyres without paying attention to the rim size.

    The rear are actually 18s - 18x3.00
The front are 16s but wider - 2.50 not 2.15, so 120s are probably ok.

I'm confused as to why all the specs listed in internet land show 17 inch rear wheels and 2.15 front for both the EF and Es. Just looked at the ES service manual I have and it says 16 front and 18 rear for the ES.

Anyway, teach me for not looking more closely and trusting the internet. To be fair I was home sick so the internet was the easy option!

So anyway, I suppose I'll go 120/80 front and 130/80 rear unless someone has other recommendations.

Those wheel sizes are wider than the stock sizes for the US market. Either Australia got wider wheels or someone modified your bike.

Yes, those were my thoughts too Ed. The wheels look like the stock ones so I thought maybe off another GS like an 1150/1100EF

I've done some digging and parts diagrams on Aus and UK sites show 3.00x18 and 2.50x16, and US sites the smaller ones. I wonder why.
