just seeing if everything works right

im only curious because ive thought that my bike feels kinda spongy, and seems like it REALLY sits down when you get on it. i dont have another bike to base off of so ofcourse this could be completely normal. one thing i noticed is front forks will pause then go down like the areas not lubricated properly or just sticks for some reason.

just a vid of testing suspension, ive never checked fork PSI because ive heard its supposed to be 7 psi and ive heard it can go up to 30 psi. and i know rear shocks are adjustable, i weigh 185ish. this is just a quick thing to check out while i cant buy other things (covid). hope everyones doing well during this time.

It looks to me that the rears are doing what they're supposed to. They are adjustable and if you want them to be stiffer then you can rotate the adjuster, making the spring shorter makes it stiffer. There's a handy dandy little spanner in the original toolkit you use to turn the adjuster, most of the time those are long gone on bikes that old, a big pair of channel locks does the job.

Yeah, the fronts need some help. What you want to avoid is using an air hose connected to a big tank, that'll blow the seals in a second or two. A hand pump or one of those little portable 12v compressors do the job just fine. Most pencil sized air gauges won't read down to 7psi, the ones made for those balloon style ATV wheels do, an ATV shop is your best source or my favorite eBay. They aren't closed due to covid!
