its number 15 for a model z, i know u can read the size off the part number but i cant figure this one out, part number is 01550-10407 and it is a seed

Part number says it's M10 x 40. It will be metric fine pitch, so don't just grab any old M10 bolt from the hardware store and try to ram it in there.

im just gonna bring in the brake caliper dont know why i didnt think of that right away, so its the first four of the second set of numbers always, or sometimes?

Almost always. For example Suzuki p/n AAAAAXXYYZ. XX diameter, YY length, Z haven't fully figured out yet.
But compare these two. The second one is identifiable as a 6x65 from the p/n. The first is not easy to figure out. The 6mm is there but the lenght 39, is not.
