    1992 ZX7R forks on a 1981 GS1100E?

    Hi Everyone,
I am brand new here and have wasted several hours looking though all of the sections.
The one thing I can't find is any info on swapping the front fork from a 1992 Kawasaki ZX7R onto my 1981 GS1100E.
I came across the ZX7R parts for very cheap (whole bike minus the motor for $400), so I couldn't pass it up.
Has anyone already done this conversion before?
I checked the All Balls conversion chart and the list every Kawasaki fork except for the ZX7R of course.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.
And just so you know, I plan on converting the rear swingarm as well.
    Thanks,

How are your rake and (more importantly) your trail going to end up after the conversion?

Not an issue anymore. Sold all the ZX7R parts. Now on the hunt for GSXR1100 front fork and front and rear wheels.

Be sure to check fork offset. Most newer forks have less offset which results in added trail when they are installed onto a GS, and more trail means slower steering.
