Looking for Shinko 712, or 777 for 82 1100E seem to be out of stock everywhere.

I am rebuilding a 1982 GS1100E and I have been looking for a set (110/90/19 & 130/90/17) they seem to be out of stock everywhere. I am looking for suggestions for a reliable source for them. One retailer told me he thought they went out of production. In that case alternative suggestions would be great. I am looking for new tires on the cheap, and I am trying to stay away from junk.

These guys have them. The 230 is another good option. Common forum wisdom typically recommends a 100 for the front, not a 110.

I agree with the 100 on the front. The 110 is harder to turn, makes it feel like somebody turned off the power steering.

Roadrider MKII seems to be widely available these days. I'd go for those if budget allows.

I finger fumbled the keyboard on the front tire size, I meant 100 width. I have used the 100/90/19 a lot before, its's what the bike has on it now. I have never ridden an 1100 with the 110 on it, and it sounds like I don't want to. I found a set of the Shinko 230's a 100/90/19 & 130/90/17 with free shipping for under $133. I have those on another GS1100 I have and I have been happy with them as a low cost option. Thanks for all the info everyone.

I wound up buying set of V rated Shinko 230's front 100/90/19 & rear 130/90/17. They were delivered with free shipping in 4 business days. I got them from americanmototire.com, fresh date codes, great price $133 total for both tires. Thanks again for the input.
