plug those holes?
So what is the method of plugging the crossover holes when abandoning the shared air hose in the front forks? I am replacing the forks on my 80 1100L with E forks.

Oh,ok,I understand now.I thought he might have meant 'hydraulic anti-dive' and made a mistake and said "air hose" instead of hydraulic hose.

Several people have mentioned JB weld and that's what I did, works but yeah I admit it's a bit unsavory.

I suppose as long as the threaded plug doesn’t protrude proud of the inner surface of the upper chromed tube so it doesn’t interfere with the movement of the spring or any spacer that may travel there.Originally posted by gustovh View PostMy thought was to tap the holes and lock tight in some plugs…..hmmm

Good thought on the tape, the set screw is my thought, and can always be removed.Originally posted by grcamna2 View PostA pair of shallow, tiny little allen set-screw type, possibly use teflon tape to seal them..
