    83' GS750ES tire choices..

I'm looking for a pr. of stock(I only want these sizes)size tires that are affordable;I can afford $200 for the pair.
The sizes are 120/90?17 Rr. and 100/90x16 Fr.
I would prefer H rated if I can find them otherwise V rated as long as they're a matched brand/model pair.
I've called quite a few places but they're out of stock.

You're in for a disappointment, because I'm unaware of any tires that meet your price requirements. BT46 and Sport Demon come in the right sizes, but they are more money than you want to spend. Try American Motor Tire, at least they have free shipping.

Edit: on second though, can't find the proper rear with Sport Demons. It seems BT46 are the only game in town.

I can’t state much about what is available in those sizes.

but Dennis Kirk has good website.
      select tires
      motorcycle
      then is place to select
      - width (english or metric)
      - aspect ratio
      - rim diameter
      (don’t recall if select front/rear)

and then it lists all that meet that., of the several manufactures they have.

maybe that can help you find what is available
for what price. But you may not want to order from them and have to pay
shipping from Wisconsin. But then you can have some specific brand/model to search for.

I think if you call local places (mocycle dealers?). They are only gonna stock sizes for more current bikes.

            Thanks for the feedback Dave.
I called them but nothing for my sizes.
I had given up looking a while back:just been riding my small bike. The weather's getting warmer here and the tires are the last thing holding me back.

Just wondering, It seems you're fixed on a matched set brand & model. I understand it is important to some, but it seems for most folks the matched set isn't too important. I did some searching & it seems what you are looking for may not be available... Please let us know if you find something.

Yeah, I was a little perturbed that my front and rear Sport Demons had to be shipped from different locations around the country, but once they arrived I declared them a matched set.

I'm a little confused. Isn't this the same bike that was going to be ridden out to Brown County last year immediately after being purchased from a guy in Virginia and shipped to California? Didn't you have everything you needed then to make it rideable?

I fixed up a 750ES and still remember the very limited tire options available on the market. I don't care how many tires shops you call, you won't squat in terms of options, because they don't exist.

I've made a bunch of calls to different suppliers lately,so far I've found the Bridgestone BT46 is available in both my stock sizes.

I've let this bike sit under a cover while I've dealt with other things, but now I want to get it on the road as I have all the other parts needed except tires.

I realize now I'm going to need to spend $ to get the correct quality tires for this high performance bike;no getting around it.

Yup, BT46's are about the only option unless you compromise on fit. No sense in that though.
