If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

solid color plastic fairing like buells, triumph speed triples, ducati monster
i've found fome after market that say they fit all round headlight and mount to the headloght brackets. i'm not really worried about making brackets i can do that, i just want to know if it will clear the gauges and how it looks, if anybody has pics if you can post them or e-mail me them at vwbeatle1214@eartlink.net

I would really like to know how you get on with this project, as a little handlebar fairing is just what I want, and will hopefully release a few extra MPH while prone on the tank! My buddy has one on his Monster and looks nice without that whole vetter touring thing going on... Maybe I should steal his???? CJ

i have a carbon fiber one on my kz 900 kawasaki and i love the look. i have a monster tach under it and it covers good.

How about posting a link to the fairing you are looking at. i have a buell and probably could measure a bit for you. I will say this now that the littyle fairing or whatever that sits on my buell headlight is for a round headlight all right but it is not shaped for the larger 8 inch light that is on my suzuki gs.

i think it was my 1100e that had the 7" and my 750e has the 8" , or was it the other way around , dammit now i don't remember i guess i'll have to measure

Is this what you?re looking for? This was a nice addition. The wind just barely hits the top of my helmet. It?s much quieter and less fatigue over a long days riding. I think it look great too. Oh ya, it?s for sale (the bike that is)

OK, you can't post a pic like that and then not tell us where you got the fairing. That is perfect for my 1100E and I need to know! :)

Its a Buell fairing, check eBay or your local domestic motorcycle dealer.

that is exactly what i was looking for.thats what i want for my 750 how well does it fit on the gauge side, i'm not too worried about the headlight area i can reshape that. how does it mount?

Just drill a couple holes in the headlight bucket and mount it with some angle iron. Works great. On the gauge side I put a piece of weather striping where its rests against the cluster. You can get an idea for this picture. (And yes, it only has 6300 miles ;))

How much?

I think $2200 is a fair price for a bike in this condition. Its really nice. I bought it form the original owner sight unseen. My intent was to buy a bike and cut it up to go SuperComp racing but this one is to nice to donate to the cause. He even gave me the Magazines from 1982 with the reviews. The Cycle cover states "Undisputed Superbike King". I thought that was Kinda kewl!
