I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.
Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Returning Visitors
If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.
If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

"recently acquired a complete 1994 GSXR 750 front end, forks, triple trees, wheel and brakes. Sitting next to the front end is a 1981 Suzuki GS1100e. Will this be a good match with trail "-rake" and overall geometry? What needs to be changed to make this bike handle well?"
A 1994 GSX-R750 inverted front end on an 1981 Suzuki GS1100E drops front ride height and increases offset, reducing trail into twitchy territory (around 3.5 inches or less), which quickens steering but hurts high-speed stability. Compensate by raising the rear ride height or using a taller 120/70-17 front tire.Geometry and Handling MatchRake & Trail: The GS1100E frame has a relaxed traditional rake (around 27 degrees), while 1994 GS-R750 triple trees feature a larger offset. Combined with shorter sportbike forks, this shrinks trail significantly.Ride Height: The 1994 GSX-R750 forks are shorter than the stock 1981 conventional units, lowering the front end and steepening the steering angle.Behavior: Expect very sharp, quick turn-in, but potential headshake or nervousness at highway speeds unless balanced.What Needs to be ChangedSteering Stem: The GSX-R stem does not drop straight into the GS1100 frame head tube. You must press out the GSX-R stem and press in a custom conversion stem (available from specialists like Cognito Moto), or match bearing races using conversion tapered roller bearings (such as All Balls Racing).Front Ride Height: Drop the fork caps flush or slightly down in the triple trees (max 2–5mm) and run a tall 120/70-17 front tire profile to claw back lost front height.Rear Suspension: Install slightly longer or adjustable rear shocks on the GS1100E to raise the tail, restore proper trail figures, and keep cornering clearance.Steering Stops: Fabricate custom steering stops on the lower triple tree or frame neck to prevent the modern fork tubes from denting your GS1100 gas tank.Brakes & Bearings: Use fresh fluids and braided lines for the Tokico/Brembo setup, and upgrade to tapered roller head bearings for stability.
