A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

Got a 3.5hr ride in on Saturday. I happened to ride up a super steep dirt road with tight switchbacks, going so slow, I was almost stalling in first gear. My son is hosting a mountain bike jump event here called Whoolley Fest in August. I'm about 3/4 up the course. 2nd shot is a place called...

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

Got some riding in the last 3 days, mid 50's or so. The ratty crashed Kat ran well, except for the throttle cable being a bit buggered. Don't know if a 1990 GSXR 1100 cable is shorter than a stock Kat, but I recall having this one shortened about 15 + years ago, as I have those carbs on. The...

Maybe what it looks like on Ayahuasca, pretty trippy, Redman. Remember these old ads? Not sure if there ever was a Suzuki bike used. 20250317_175402 by Carter Turk, on Flickr

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

The 1980 GS1100ET fork had better adjustments (preload ramps & dampening adj. on the bottom), than the 83 anti-dives. Stock, those forks were terrible! I even thought the ET forks were better than the stock 1994 RF 900 I owned briefly. Guess that one had Suzuki bargain bin suspension on it...

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

Nice clean Kat! Looks like an 1150 motor, different carbs, forks & wheels. Is that really a Yosh pipe? I woke up in an ambulance, 11 ribs, punctured lung, shattered collarbone (they had to put synthetic croutons in for filler), plated w/6 screws. This was during COVID, so the road maintenance...

Wish my Kat looked as nice as those, still battered from deer incident back in 2021. Which one is yours?

Whose driven on the left side of road? Any timely tips?

Well...survived driving on the left for 2 weeks in a Toyota Highlander on the South Is. & a Ford Everest Diesel on the North Is. Hit the windshield wiper under 10 times, instead of turn signal. Had 1 Toyota Camry try to merge into me after two lane round-about. The Everest had only 900 kms on...

Whose driven on the left side of road? Any timely tips?

Made it to Queenstown after 15 hours of flying. Got the rental car, probably drove about 25 miles so far, & hit the windshield wipers 3 times instead of the turn signal. Otherwise, driving on the left is fine. Seen some Indian Baggers, BMW GS's, V-Stroms, 1 92 CBR 900RR & others. Had to pay a...

Whose driven on the left side of road? Any timely tips?

Going to New Zealand next month to watch my son in "Natural Selection" mountain bike event. He's one of 6 selected as a wild card, so the fam is showing up for support. I've driven once in Australia in a rented Hyundai Sonata 14 years ago, when my daughter was granted a "Make a Wish" trip there...

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

5th day @ Ridge. 6 sessions complete. Had a fresh rear tire on upon arrival. Saw a cool vintage CB750F out on track that had serious grunt! Turns out he had 1100F engine bored to 1123cc (2mm over) & Kaz Yoshima pistons. A 5'' widened Comcast rear wheel, with first gen GSXR front end & 1st gen...
