A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

    frame/wheel paint

Depends on your budget really. Personally, I have successfully used both powder coating's and 2pak (urethane) paints. I think that the cheapest option for the long term is to stick with GOOD brands of urethane paints as they tend to be much more durable when they are applied with 2 or 3...

    GS750B (1977) spoke wheel conversion > GS750E (1978?) mags

I have googled this and found 6 different sizes which are from sites "supposedly in the know"

    GS750E (1978?) forks onto GS750B (1977)

The instruments were shot but they had the fuel guage and the different type of gear indicator to my 750B. The key was mounted in a hole on the front (headlight side) of the triple tree. I remember speaking to an ex-suzuki dealer a few years back and he said to me to get the 750E for fork...

    Forks Polished

Nice job :) The best way I found to achieve satin finish is to start out with wet/dry paper from 400, then 600, 800, 1000, 1500 and finish with 2000 :) Gives an awesome satin finish! I have also successfully used clear 2pak (urethane) paint over freshly polished alloy. It maintains the...

    1977 gs750B jets

I also think it depended on location (country?) because there are other things to consider such as emissions requirements, laws, altitude etc.

    1977 gs750B jets

My '77 GS750B originally had the 102.5 main and 15 pilot jets :) I know because when I bought the bike they were in a bag in the tray under the seat lol

    GS750E (1978?) forks onto GS750B (1977)

Hi Ed, yes I forgot to mention that I have the complete setup, brakes, wheel, axle, speedo drive, triple tree :) I have measured the staunchion tubes and my GS750B (1977) has the 35mm fork staunchions and the GS750E (1978??) has 37mm staunchions. My main concern was the steering pivot on...

    custom, stainless exhaust??

I have been offered to have a set of custom made pipes (for free) by my local school. All they need is my old set (luckily I have a spare set too) and they will replicate the bends etc and will even make a custom muffler which they will replicate the flow from my tranzac. Thing is that...

    18" speedo drive?

Hi Matt, I recently had issues with my speedo and it turned out that the speedo drive on the front wheel was stripped. I managed to find one at my local bike wreckers and being lazy, I decided to just slap one on and use it, but my speedo was reading off. I stripped it out and discovered that...

    GS750E (1978?) forks onto GS750B (1977)

Im hoping to transplant the forks from my donor 750E (1978?) onto my 750B (1977). I was wondering if anyone knows first hand if the triple tree from the 750E will fit up to the 750B without any issues?? Both had the ball race bearings and I have a new set of tapers for the conversion. The...

    GS750B (1977) spoke wheel conversion > GS750E (1978?) mags

G'day all. I recently acquired a donor bike for some parts for my GS750B (1977). The donor bike is the GS750E but I am not sure of the year model as the compliance plate was damaged. The donor GS750E has the 19" front and 17" rear, and my 750B currently has the spoked wheels with 19" front...

    GS750E 16v head onto GS750B 8v engine

I have just acquired a damaged bike with the GS750E prefix on the frame number but it is extremely difficult to read the rest (I think it says GS750E 707083) and I am not sure of the year model (thinking 1979). I want to know if someone could tell me the performance gains and if it is possible...

Jetting Q: It was a GS750B now has wiseco BB 850 kit

Hey Coady, yeah both were 750 barrels, I do actually still have the original 750 barrels that were 850'd as well as the genuine 850 suzi pistons, will dig them out tomorrow and let you know the inside barrel measurement. Im pretty certain that the '79 barrels were the same as the '77's. They...

Jetting Q: It was a GS750B now has wiseco BB 850 kit

Need to ride, you really should have posted a seperate (new) thread with your question, but I will answer you anyways because as I said, I do have the K844 fitted to my 1977 GS750B. You should have noticed my signature just below the picture of my bike. OK: Mine was NOT standard 750 pistons...

    Q: Pilot FUEL screw- GS750B with VM26SS

Thanks Chuck, I looked at that sticky in the carbs section and was a bit a bit baffled because the settings in my bike, the settings in my genuine suzuki service manual, and the settings listed in the sticky are all different lol:confused:

Carb OEM specs as per factory manuals

Im finding all this sooo strange because the Suzuki service manual that originally came with my GS750B 1977 say, and the actual settings on the bike were: VM26SS Main Jet: 105 Air Jet: 1.1 Needle Jet: P-1 Jet Needle: 5F21-3 Pilot Jet:22.5 Pilot air jet: 1.6 Cutaway: 2.5 air screw: 1-1/4 turns...
