    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Never a dull moment in the Big Apple

I love the tradition that ship preserves, and, as a fan of tall ships, I really appreciate that one. It does sound, however, like some colossal errors were made by the captain and/or crew.

2001 Toyota Camry - Anyone familiar with these?

    At least it's a non-interference engine.

2001 Toyota Camry - Anyone familiar with these?

If it is the 2.2 liter 4 cylinder, especially then, it is potentially a great deal.

The actual freedom of an old car

I still want an Elky. A great friend of my dad had a '72 that left a lasting impression on me. Even the '76 he then bought was cool.

    SpaceX Crew 10 Launch

Astronauts still do things no other humans do, and they still inspire us to look up.

They don't make 'em like that any more

Well, I'd say Kira Salak is up there, but Schreider was definitely a great adventurer.

    Kaizo Project

Definitely wonder why not trade this rare Kat for a bike that is more akin to the goal you have for it and use the more pedestrian bike as a canvas.

    Perth to Sydney - intention

I think a question might be, does it have to be on a GS? I'd imagine KLRs and such are more plentiful.

    Perth to Sydney - intention

You have definitely used up your fair share of luck, but I'll count myself lucky because I still ride.

So by your own Rx, you are insane.

If the Vikings or Lions had made it, it might have been fun.

    Who knew sharks can bite?

Should I guess that you prefer me behind bars, Ron?

    Who knew sharks can bite?

Yep, I know it is currently closed. I am still hoping for a re-opening at some point in the next few years. Diving off the Farallons is not ideal.

    Who knew sharks can bite?

I have dived with many different sharks: Hammerheads, lemons, whale sharks, black tips, nurse, leopard, sand tigers, and for the most part, I've never felt crazy for doing so. I do want to do a great white dive off Guadalupe at some point. I fell in love with sharks thanks both to Benchley...

    Bought another Bandit

Although I prefer the look of the tube frame Buells, the XB series was pretty damned great.

    Bought another Bandit

Now, having said that, I do think I could see getting a Buell with an EVO motor.
