    A note to old forum members...
    I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

    Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

    Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

    If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

    If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

    On my yamaha radian there's a guy on Facebook that makes the fuel tee's and the transfer tubes out of aluminum. I don't think anyone makes them for the gs1100e.

    So I got this orings we use this kind on machines in the oil fields. So far looks good, I even tested by running fuel on the carbas to see if it leaks.

    I may be a little late on this post but a set of tires for $200? Used sure but huge risk. Also after searching for a while the only website that seems to have Pirelli sport demon set is Chaparral. Metzeler is also a good brand but also hard to find. BTW I'm running 100/90/19 front 130/90/17...

    Thank you guys now the hunt for parts. According to Z1enterprises.com tech If I got with 18t 50t I need a 530- 118link chain in which they don't have the front sprocket or chain. I'm sure I'm also going need a spacer in the front sprocket

    In my case I feel like when in 1st gear within in seconds I need to be in 2nd gear I kind of want to be able to use 1st gear a little longer before I go to next gear. Not sure if I'm explaining myself well.

    How do I Install the Carburetors on my 1982 GS1100E

    I just replaced my cam chain tensioner, I removed and reinstalled the carbs eith no problems on new boots. If your intake boots are really that hard then is time to replace. It shouldn't be that hard to put back

    engine paint question

    Want a long lasting results, Prep Prep Prep the surface is very important. I would light sand everything as much as possible, clean surface with a degreaser, 2 coats of HT primer, 2 coats of HT paint. I never painted an engine so not sure what brands are good. Good luck

    Yes both are replaced but I think I had the screws too tight so it was just a small leak. Use yamabond to give it a better seal now is good. Thks

    Recently I restore my gas tank now the hose breather from the gas tank on the fuel sender float is leaking. I replaced the seals and still leaks a little by the hose or line. Anyone with any ideas maybe I over tightened the screws that the rubber is pinching ?
