A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Also I changed the rubber on the old girl. I realise that some members have their favorite makes of tyres for many reasons, price, wear and others but I thought I would try a premium brand. I personaly feel the extra money is well spent as the feel from the road is good, I had Battlax before and...

    Suzuki GS1000e/s/gs1100/gsx1100 project...

Soooo, it's been a while since the last update... life sometimes gets in the way. After the salty_monk brake conversion I found the feeling on the front brake leaver was not as I would like it so I changed it for a Bandit item. which works very well. I've also upgraded the front fork...

You can find 2nd hand SH775 on eBay uk but they are normally north of ?100 There is a list on here somewhere that gives the other bikes with the correct item as there are a few different types that are not what you need. I bought a new SH775 R/R for a CAN AM Spyder 710001103 Renegade Outlander...

Rain riding...likely posted before, but worth another look for the chuckle factor.

It's the skill and confidence in his ability to ride the bike that I admire, if I was only a 10th as good I would be happy. Still, I can dream

BSB cool, but Cadwell Park? WOW!!!

I was at Brands Hatch for round 4 of the BSB. I was a guest in one of the hospitality suites on the start/ finish straight. What a day and what a noise when the bikes started and passed during the races.

    GS1000 Yoshimura camshafts

I have very similar popy cams in my engine and used slotted sprockets to get the lob centres I wanted which incidentally are the same as GregT advised. I also used APE valve springs.

Nurburgring: Old Guy does 7:30 lap on Ducati

    top fork tube caps

I also have racetech internals but I still use the air as it stops the oil foaming and with the racetech you will create a bit of foaming..

Grimly, a mate of mine has the same system on his GS1000S with a cheeky 2nd hand flee bay aftermarket can and the system works very well and is definitely value for money.
