As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

    Metzeler Sportec Klassik

Well you did make me wonder if I did have the tyre on the wrong way but I just popped out to the bike and the directional arrow is facing the correct way, I think it's just the way the tyre looks in the picture.

    Charging System QUICK TEST

Just to add to the thread, I started my bike the other day and it was a bit sluggish but started so I just thought it must be my imagination but on my way out and about I noticed the indicators would stay on and not flash so when I arrived home I put a multimeter on the battery and found it was...

    Metzeler Sportec Klassik

Buffalo Bill, I have tried dropping the tubes and it caused the collector of the Harris to ground out even if I was dropping down a small curb or bump. I have also placed an order for a pair of Pirelli Sport demons and only paid 1 of our English pound more than the man had taken for the...

    Metzeler Sportec Klassik

Chuck78, I have BT45's front and rear. I am ok with the way the rear has worn but the front has washed out on me twice and worn in a strange way. I have changed the fork legs for new Tarozzi fork tubes with race tec emulators and hagon springs so that might sort the strange waring and wash out...

    New Hagon shocks

I have been running Hagons on the rear and I am very pleased with there performance. I also have Hagon springs in the front with Racetech emulators again with very good results and that's with me being 220lb in my calvins.

    Fork Seal Will Not Seat

The shim should be below the circlip and above the seal and the spring in the seal should be on the bottom. I have changed both my fork seals this weekend and it pays to strip the forks down than to try any other way, it works out quicker and easier in the long run.

    Decided I'm not a ?Biker?

It's not been a problem for as long as I have been riding (1978). I also have a more or less 50/50 split of mates who ride scooters such as Lambrettas, Vespas to those who ride bikes. We more often than not will ride together as it's all about having a good time on your weapon of choice...

Sonic Springs and Race Tech Emulators intall

I have a pair of racetech emulators ready to install. I am using Hagon progressive front springs at the moment and when I install the emulators I will have to recalculate the pre load but that's a minor detail if the improvement is as good as reported.

    MJN......Yoshimura reinvents the carburettor!

That is definitely some thing I would be interested in if there were a kit that would fit 33mm smooth bores. I have fitted MegaSquirt to several car engines and was toying with fitting MS to my 8 valve 1085 as it's quite do-able but if the MJN could be fitted it would keep the look and give...

    Guy martin on a katana

Hi Nick, I had a very good look around this bike at the MCN show at the Excel London back in Feb this year and spent a very informative 1/2 hour with Jon from Race Tech about all the work that has gone in to building the bike and the exhausts they make are just a bit tasty. Getting the chance to...

Mike's XS front fork cartridge emulators

I have bought the FEGV-3301 from this seller and saved over 50 UK pounds on the price I would have to pay at home and as I'm in the states for a few weeks also saved on shipping to the UK as well.

Twinpot Brake upgrade on 78 Skunk

Thanks Dan, I'm in the states in August and I'm going to order the Racetech emulators as they are a lot cheaper in the USA and take them back to blighty. Looking good Chuck, looks like a great road to ride from the pictures.

Twinpot Brake upgrade on 78 Skunk

I have Hagon progressive springs in the front and they do dive a bit under breaking with the new set up. I don't suppose you remember what the code was for your emulators do you Dan?

Twinpot Brake upgrade on 78 Skunk

It was the standard item circa 1980. I just couldn't get a good feel on the lever even after bleeding the system many times. I put it down to the age of the M/C and how much it had just generally worn over the years even after replacing the rubbers.
