A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

    Bike randomly died while riding.

I just had the same thing happen to me on a '82 GS1100E while out in Missouri. Started missing occasionally one morning, cleared up until the afternoon. Felt like it had bad gas to me so I added some fuel treatment and it ran good for another 1/2 day. Until it wouldn't! I cut my trip...

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

"Hey, Columbus Indiania, not far for the new owner to come visit you/us at Bedford". I mentioned it to him, but he has only been in the states for 3 months, (working at Toyota), and has a very limited use of the English language, so I doubt he will show up in Bedford!

Got out the '78 GS750E today and rode it one last time!:( This is the one that started it all for me. Sold it for the second time, since I originally bought it, this afternoon to a nice young guy from Columbus, Indiana. (and NO, I'm NOT buying it back again!) Oddly enough, his last name was...

    Another Sonic Springs Nightmare!

Update: Well......I got an email tonight at 8.36pm telling me the tracking number of my order. Checked the UPS website, and it shows the tracking number, but they don't have the package yet! Looks like it wasn't shipped on Monday as promised! Looks to me like Sonic Springs should be teaching...

    Another Sonic Springs Nightmare!

Well........... still no tracking number email. Makes me wonder if they actually shipped my springs yesterday as promised. (I'm betting not!) "IF" they did, how long does it take to email the tracking info? A real lesson on how to NOT do customer service!

    Another Sonic Springs Nightmare!

Even with the somewhat questionable customer service reviews I had read, I ordered a set of Sonic Springs on April 28th. The money came out of my account on the 29th and I received an email stating that the order had been accepted by Sonic. (All good so far!) I sent an email on 5/2 requesting...

    Bad petcock?

Check the simple stuff first! Is it connected to the correct vacuum port on the carbs? Is there a hole in the hose? Do you have vacuum on the hose when it is not connected to the petcock with the bike running?

Mikuni carbs fuel transfer tubes leaking GS 750

Are yours leaking? Soaking them in gasoline before re-installing them usually makes them swell up and seal. If they are already installed, just leave the fuel turned on, with a catch tray, and they will probably seal up just fine. Although it may take a day or so. Some on here have carefully...
