A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

    82-83 GK Seat

There are a few on ebay that would work. 850G, 1100G 1982 and newer have pretty much the same seat as the GK.

I've been running back and forth to Southern Colorado every weekend, usually passing this area in the dark. Finally seeing the Sangre De Cristo Mountains was a nice treat. The phone's camera can only catch a glimpse. Looking off toward the East where Taos and Questa are from the Tres Piedras...

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

My heated liners work far better than grip warmers ever did. You can even wear thinner gloves which don't hinder your grip as much, IMHO.

Never thought of black tape on the bottom of the visor. I do have a couple strips on the top though. Happy birthday!

    The American Revolution

My recollection was that Washington was destroying those who were allied with the British. Our country has had, and continues to have, many appalling moments. I wish it weren't so.

    The American Revolution

Ken Burns is certainly diving deeper than our history books did. I'm learning and re-learning a lot. The names of these places in New York are bringing back vivid memories of my 5th and 6th grade years. I lived on Griffis Air Force Base, just outside of Rome, NY. We swam and fished in the...

Greatest TV Show of All Time

I loved these shows (and trucks ) of the late 70s and 80s. Of course the already mentioned A-Team. The Fall Guy and his GMC Sierra. Lone Wolf McQuade with his undead Ram Charger. Simon and Simon Dodge Power Wagon.

Hydraulic lift or hoist, what do you use?

More on topic, I'd love to have a lift. I've even got the space for one. Getting close enough to the bike without having to lean over has been a concern. I use those lock together foamy matts and knee pads. Arthritis is telling me it's time to change that though. Only after my blunder did make...

Boy, don't everyone post at once. ;) Maybe I should restate the theme to something like free association. Find something similar in some way to the example pic. Whatcha think?
