A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Perhaps the most convoluted oil change I've ever done (KTM)

There are anomalies in many vehicle repairs. The most complicated that I ever encountered was not a motorcycle but a 1986 Toyota 4-runner that had a failed water pump. Nothing to it...right? Drain and remove the radiator, the fan and its belt, and get to work.. Remove the bolts at the bottom...

    Do you know Theia?

a minor adjustment offered:. I recall hearing that a German guy came up with a theory that a lot of professionals in his field considered totally ridiculous. His ridiculous theory said that mass and energy are the same physical entity. If we were to give that absurdity of a theory just a bit...

Thanks for that reminder. Red Skelton dates all the way back to Vaudeville days. I think he was a professional clown in those days. He was a wonderful comedian. ...simple humour...lots of puns....everything was always clean He had a long-standing reputation for laughing at his own jokes. I...

Do you have moderate cognitive impairment"

Good thought. Maybe that is what has affected me, as last night I found myself hiding in the dark behind bushes while making sad wolf howls and cackling like a demented witch as kids came by seeking treats. On the plus side, however, I did not even think of giving the kids a full "moon".

Lane splitting and other things wrong

I admit to being amazed a the widespread refusal to think rationally on the subject of police chases. If a person riding/driving a single vehicle is a menace to other users of the road, does itnot make undeniable sense that adding fifteen or more vehicles to the mix instantly and unavoidably...

Lane splitting and other things wrong

Perhaps you missed this line above " it always amazes me that US police so often assign an utterly insane number of vehicles to a single-vehicle chase. " It has happened so often, over so many years, and is done for the lamest of excuses........WHY? A phalanx of fifteen to twenty, or even...
