    Bad Input Shaft Bearing?

Ok, what do you mean by "no clutch", like the clutch won't engage now ? A few things to check, -Remove the lockup assy and see if the clutch works again -Check all 9 fibers for wear, stack height -Make sure the pressure plate doesn't touch the inner basket when the clutch is assemble...

    Bad Input Shaft Bearing?

Thats what suppose to happen in neutral cause the the countershaft/inner clutch basket is free spinning too when the engine is running. Now once you pull the clutch lever in and put it in gear the inner basket will come to a stop until you start to release the clutch lever and the inner basket...

    Bad Input Shaft Bearing?

Sounds like the oil pump drive gear behind the outer basket is not aligned ?? So with all the fiber's and steel plates removed and the bike in neutral your saying the center basket will not turn by hand ?

Hit the Nitrous and she'll pull like a freight train, still amaze's me that just a 36 shot can propel my 250lb butt to 125 mph in the 1/8.

Most of the time I do, but sometimes I'll leave them off for a change. With my soft springs in the lockup the clutch lever is too light so I'll put the HD ones back in so I can get more of a feeling when slipping the clutch. She's runs about 4 tenths slower without bars N/A. I also got a shinko...

I've gone through a few of them, I guess they don't like to turn over 10K ? I'd finally ordered a Dyna rotor with the degree markings to replace it.

Still working a few bugs out but did run three 6.21's and one 6.22 in the 1/8 during T&T on C14 race fuel. Next time I'm going to try VP110 and see if I can drop another tenth. Then I'll try a few nitrous runs and get her back in the 5's. I did blow up my mechanical advance again, might need to...

    Is this a 1983 GS1100E crankshaft?

If it's not twisted I'd use it until I split the rod bearing out, I'm getting pretty good at that :-k

    How does lock-up clutch work?

It's my fat a$$ Years ago I was having just alittle clutch slippage before the 1/8 mark with 41 lb springs with just 3 bolts so I just installed 3 more and it's been like that for a long time and I just forgot about it. It locks up pretty fast, maybe before the 60ft mark and still get a...

    How does lock-up clutch work?

Think of it like a two stage clutch, 1st stage is static spring pressure thats allows the clutch to slip at launch depending on how much spring pressure you run with. 2nd is the arms that you can add more weight if needed that prevents the clutch from slipping on the topend of the track due...
