I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

    1982 GS750T - R/R Connector Help Required...

Since your wiring has been modified by the PO, you don't necessarily need a red wire going to the fuse box. The PO may have taken that 2nd red wire from your battery positive post, that went to a bullet connector down near the electrical panel, unplugged it, and connected it to the red wire...

    1982 GS750T - R/R Connector Help Required...

Just an FYI, on BikeCliff's website, page 66 of the GS750ET service manual has the wiring diagram for the GS750T(Z).

    1982 GS750T - R/R Connector Help Required...

Well, the factory didn't use an extra fuse in that red wire. It goes up into the harness and is spliced into the red wire that runs from fuse MAIN to the ignition switch. So power out from the R/R can go two ways. The power can go from the splice up to the ignition switch, and with the ignition...

My bad! I just found the wiring diagram for the T, so I'm going to modify my previous post. I surly didn't mean to make this even more complicated by trying to revise my previous post, but here goes.

PLEASE IGNORE THIS POST. SEE THE NEXT POST! Okay Sam, thanks for that video. One thing I am not sure about is why your white 6-pin R/R connector wires are different from the picture Rich posted of his white 6-pin R/R connector wires. Don't you both have T's? Based on this pin-out of a 6 pin...

Thanks for the pic of the fuse box. And I think Rich is right on! I am trying to sort out your wire one and two but am getting another headache. Before I strain my brain again, I need to be sure: Does it connect directly into a six pin R/R, or is there more wires between that white 6 pin...

I'm also struggling with your wire colors and your 6 terminal white connector. What does/was the white connector connected to? I don't see a 6 terminal connector connected to a Regulator in the wiring diagram. And the three yellow wires makes me suspect that this bike's wiring has been...

Try This (although it is not your exact model) from BikeCliff's website: https://gsarchive.bwringer.com/mtsac/~cliff/storage/gs/GS750_schematic_color.pdf The color lines are much easier to follow, plus you can expand it so it's not sow crowded.

I installed the SH775 but need to know how to replace the circuit at the light.

The reason the white/red and white/green went to the light switch so that when the light switch is "on", the white/red and white/green wires are connected together so that all three phases of the stator feed the rectifier. And when the light switch is in the "off", the wires are not connected...

GS850GL plea for help - bike won't pull past 5000 rpm

I agree, Suzuki knew what they were doing, but your fuel system is now 42 years old and has had a fuel system disaster. If it was me, I'd pull the fuel line, stick it in a beer can, put the petcock on prime and see how long it takes to fill the can. If fuel flows well, go for the mains. If it...

GS850GL plea for help - bike won't pull past 5000 rpm

Technical terms? Okay, thanks dave. If my math is correct, that's about 0.008lb per HP minute. And when it's putting out say ~60HP, that would be about 0.5lb fuel per minute. Say fuel weighs about 7.5lb per gallon so 0.5lb would be about 1/15th of a gallon a minute. At 128 oz/gal, that...

GS850GL plea for help - bike won't pull past 5000 rpm

Just wondering what type of fuel filter you installed. (I assume that stock 850s didn't have an in-line filter?) Could it be plugged after the fuel system disaster? Anyone know if there is a spec for the amount of fuel that should flow for a given amount of time? Heavy throttle at higher RPMs...

    R/r

Not if the Red/White wire is connected to the battery, in which case just tape off the Red wire so it can't get to a ground. In a stock wiring setup that red wire used to carry the DC output of the regulator about a foot up into the loom where it is mechanically spliced to feed both the...

    Carburetor carb boot

Will do. It seems to be for each set of four. The clamps on my current carb boots seem to be stretch out and bottom out before they are tight. Okay guys, appreciate the feedback. I'll let you know which way I went when I get a round tuit.

    What Reg Rec To buy?

Ah, so six wire is not the original regulator! I'm gonna guess that the Orange/Black wire coming out of the regulator is a sensing wire to monitor the system's voltage and is not a Suzuki wire or wire color. Looks like a PO connected that Orange/Black wire to the solid orange wire (which is a...

    What Reg Rec To buy?

Does that regulator pictured have 5 or 6 wires going into the regulator? And I see three yellow wires coming out of the regulator and going into that black sheathing but only two yellow wires coming out of the black sheathing and connected to that black connector. Where does that third yellow...
