A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

air valve broke on front shocks

I looked at parts fish and put the part number in ebay and nothing. Ebay suggested this looks kinda like it might work. I had the fork seals done when I first got the bike at this "shop" run by a friend of a friend and I sorta of imagine that he might have broken it and just kinda shrugged and...

    Spark Plug Wires and Boots

Sorry if this has been asked before I tried to search and couldn't find anything. It's time to change out my spark plug wires and boots. When I bought the bike the boots on the inside cylinders were longer then the ones on the outside. I have replaced them once before and the new set were all...

    Fabricating Side Covers

Hello, I have posted recently about my project '81 Gs850g that was recovered after it was stolen. The side covers and back is missing so I decided to build it out as a sorta cafe racer thing, maybe more of a rat bike cuz I'm trying to do it all on the cheap. I think I'm going to fabricate some...

Look what they did to my beatiful boy!

So I got a shop space! A maker space for $125 a month! So I started digging into the bike. Rewired a new ignition so now you can start the bike with a key, instead of a sketchy switch. Replaced The brake master. Gonna dig into the carbs next. I think I might have to replace one of the float...

Look what they did to my beatiful boy!

That's a good idea with the airbox. I never heard of that. I was also thinking of shorting the mudguard maybe putting the brakelight undernearth the seat. There's a hoop there that I could probably fit it to. I'm thinking just an LED Round headlight and maybe a bullet fairing? make it cafe racer...

Look what they did to my beatiful boy!

Did not have to pay. It was found abandoned by a friend of a friend. I think I would bring it back to close to stock if I had the parts. I at-least want to put an airbox back on it. I don't really get "airpods" they seem like a pain for not much gain

leaking valve cover gasket 1,500 miles from home

shot in the dark here, I'm on an epic journey currently in Taos, New Mexico. Taking this virus seriously and masking up in public etc but I appear to be having an oil leak out of the valve cover gasket. I recently replaced it when I had the valves checked my friend who did the job told me the...
