    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Anyone Get A Cortizone Injection ?

Chiropractor. Depending on the specific problem, many chiropractors now avoid the earlier twist and bend, and instead use a hand-held "bump" device that is quite gentle and works.. They have to be trained in how to use it as the pressure/impact is infinitely variable and the operator must...

Sorry, but that will not work. The rules are pretty strict for motorcycles, and shipping by air will be expensive. First, because a motorcycle is considered a "Dangerous Good" . That means it has to be packed/crated according to specific rules Second, you MUST use a company that can not only...

Bring in National Guard! Bring in the marines! Americans are under attack (H)

The story brought a vivid memory of squirrels that "attacked" me when I first moved into my present house. There is a large deck behind the house with a 2x6 covering. On one side it was further covered across the top by a very active and very large vine that had grown to cover that half...

Bring in National Guard! Bring in the marines! Americans are under attack (H)

I will stop laughing soon, but I have to post this first. SAN RAFAEL, Calif. -- In California, some neighbors are on alert after a series of frightening attacks on people -- all perpetrated by a vicious squirrel. The injuries needed quick medical attention. "It clamped onto my leg. The tail...

    FortNine Lane filtering

That was the point. There are many, many of them that do not have a clue how to do it safely. I am not a stranger to it as I have done it and have seen it done probably thousands of times over the years, but 2025 is exceptional: I have seen so much really stupid behaviour that they must be...

    FortNine Lane filtering

Like others, I have also done it, but, regardless of the term used, I never got comfortable with this riding technique. . Part of the reason is I have almost always had full fairing and bags on my bikes, sometimes with bag guards as well as engine guards, that extend our more than the...

    Obituaries

The passage of time is a reality that we, as humans, must face. As a child ! would see my grandmother regularly open the newspaper to read obituaries. I could not understand her thinking then, but it put me off ever adopting her habit. We may meet many interesting people and have many good...

    Cybertruck

I have seen dozens of them and every one of them had the back part closed. . Other than the one in this photo I have never seen one being used as a truck, so I do not know what one would look like in truck configuration. I suspect that most owners/renters want them just to be ego boosters.

    What's it like....

Jinx, I actually do know those things. :) I put the "smilies" there to indicate it was intended as humour. Sometimes the urge to play with words overcomes me so I periodically but purposely (and probably predictably,) post pathetically poor puns. :o .
