A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

A one year rider and a 46 year old sport touring motorcycle - 1979 GS850

For an "opening post" that one is certainly thorough. :) I applaud you for taking the interest in tires as they are the two most important things on your bike. i will second Grimly's suggestion about keeping the Windjammer IV fairing. My 1100G came with one of them and I learned later that it...

When i read the text and saw the name of this horse is CORLEO memory extended it to read as CORLEONE, as from "The Godfather", and the horse that went to bed. head-first. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VC1_tdnZq1A

I heard it was just the usual Trump being in his cups, and playing catches with a steel-wired band of nurses on the balcony.

    Medical breakthrough for men

Another factor that has a very strong effect is women coming off the pill, sometimes after ten or more years, with plans to get pregnant. It is well known, and well-documented, that environment affects both s perm and eggs, but it is near impossible to find studies that openly identify and...

    Medical breakthrough for men

Yes, cows are a part of it,. but the article itself is misleading How you present facts, as well as which facts are selected for the presentation, can be deliberately planned. This is far from new, as this is how advertising has worked for decades and, on a huge scale, we already saw it happen...

    Medical breakthrough for men

I heard that, too. Then I met a doctor who specialised in this field. He told me it was more than a bit of exaggeration, as the success rate of the surgery is actually quite good, but there are other factors that can be problematic and which affect the ultimate numbers. The biggest one is that...

    Medical breakthrough for men

The stories above seem to support the idea of reversible action. Not the finality of "the snip", but an option that works for now and can be changed if/when partners and or choices change. As for the finality of "the snip" that is a common understanding, but in reality it may not be final...

    Epic fails

GSR has a current thread on the best way to handle wheelies.......obviously some of these guys should read it. My personal perspective? If you act that stupidly then you have to own the consequences.

They don't make 'em like that any more

I had a friend I met in early 1980s. We became friends partly because we both rode motorcycles, but I was never in her league. She went alone.....leaving Toronto to cross North America (Mexico is part of North America) and heading onwards to South America.....riding her old BMW. Andrea had...

    Canada Goose vs bald eagle

I, too, have had thoughts like that, although I do not own a 12gauge, or anything else. There is a public park that backs onto the schoolyard where my children go and it is not unusual to see forty to fifty geese on the grass. No, not today, as the grass is under the snow, but that is melting...

    Canada Goose vs bald eagle

IT is laughable....when you are not on the receiving end.... My wife has tried touching their babies a few times when they were guarding their nest. Once we were in a shopping plaza and the geese had a nest on a small raised island at the edge of the parking area.. I warned her to stay...

    Canada Goose vs bald eagle

Hard to answer that one as Ethiopian geese have never opened a consulate or embassy in Canada, so they have no official record.
