I agree . Her ability with a plethora of instruments is brilliant .... I'll check out your suggestion ......

Normally I wouldn't post two videos by the same artist, but as LAB3 is such a big fan I thought I would make an exception .... So here she is performing at the King of Sweden's 70th birthday.....

In this latest video both her voice and trombone hit "true" notes. That bagpipe piece was just plain sad, she only blew a handful of them.

I'll be the first to admit to being a snob when it comes to music since I've been exposed to some truly remarkable artists over the years, most who's names you've never heard of and probably never will.

Fair enough. Not looking to start anything. I appreciate a very broad spectrum of music as well. And I’ve enjoyed most of what you’ve shared in this thread.

When it comes to mashing up musical genres and finding instruments you never knew would work together then bassist, arranger and producer Bill Laswell is your man!

Dang, thanks for the reminder. Someone posted this here years ago, I think in the old Alphabet By Music thread that Kool Aid Kid started.

You ever hear Fripp play with Blondie? They do a great "We Can Be Heroes" (Bowie).

When I saw Chris Spedding in Vancouver at The Commodore he added Fripp to his " Guitar Jamboree " ..... He's not included on the original album .....
