DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Hey yall

Where can I find a LUGGAGE RACK to strap a full size hiking backpack full of clothes to?

A SISSY BAR would work. A BACK REST would be best since I have a girl that will prob want to ride.

ANYONE HAVE ONE FOR SALE? I'LL PAY SHIPPING.

HAVE BEEN CHECKING EBAY DAILY.

Thanks,
Brian

You lookin for something like this?

picture.php

wow, that's quite a contraption... where did you find that? I'm thinking about making something along those lines for camping/road trips this summer, but that's nicer than anything I could fab up.

Was on the bike when i got it,,I got another one in pretty good shape and the chrome is decent on my 78 750 E thats coming off . Thats why i asked if this was sort of what he wanted. The one there on my 77 has the backrest thats adjustable all the way up for the driver or althe way back for the passenger. Its not installed in that picture but its on there now. It also has the zippered on/off cargo bag. Can pack 2 or 3 changes of clothes in it and when you get to the hotel you simply unzip it off the backrest and head into the room.

a little confused. do you want to sell the one in the picture or the one with the back rest?

awesome

Brian

I have this sitting in the garage. I decided to go with a taller bar. It needs some TLC because of the rust but the cushion is in great shape. It allows you or your passenger to have a back rest. I paid $75 for it but I'm willing to help a brother out. If it's a too rough for you, I understand.

I think that I have just a tall sissy bar in the attic somewhere too.

Otherwise keep searching eBay for K&G. They pop up once in a while. In fact, here's one and it's the same one that I have on the bike now.

if that's going to fit on my 1977 gs750, then I am interested in buying it.
