Heyo,
Got my bike learners permit a year ago -- still yet to go for my full licence. I've been riding a 2016 SR400 for the term of my learners permit. The SR400 is kinda boring because there's nothing to fix on it, so I really wanted another bike. I've bought a car with the intention of fixing it before, but they just take up too much room, and there's more to fix than on a bike.
I have just bought an old not running GSX1100 off my girlfriend's dad. The plan is to slowly fix the bike up; it's in a sad state having sat unused in a backyard for the past few years.
The compliance plate puts it at 8/1980.
Coming in to winter I'll probably only make a post every now and then, but I've already started pulling the bike apart. It came with a manual, so I'm reading through that as I go.
