UPDATE:
Finally found some time to work on the bike. I installed an AFR kit to tune the bike and the numbers were 12-13 at idle, about 11-12 1/4 throttle, 1/2 was anywhere from 10-13, it was hard to read and watch the road at the same time, if I got it wide open then it was about 12. so honestly, those numbers are fine for me, maybe a little rich in some areas, but it still pops and it isn't lean. On deceleration its anywhere from 14-17 depending on the RPMs. I have not used high temp sealant, so I will be doing that, though it makes me wonder, if its popping that should mean it's getting air in the exhaust somewhere which would cause the AFR readings to be lean, so that means if there really is air getting sucked into the exhaust then the bike is running richer than what im seeing on the AFR gauge. I didn't have a lot of time to work on it today, hopefully I can seal the exhaust this weekend and see what happens.
UPDATE 5/6/2025: For any who may have the same problem and find this forum later, there was a huge leak in the air filter, I had previously put some window seal tape on the air filter frame part where the foam filter is fastened down to. there was a 1/4" gap in one part, it has been fixed thought there is some popping still, I did seal exhaust too and it made it pop less though its still there. Will be going over valves and checking float heights and resyncing the carbs, I don't believe either of those are the issue but I need to tweak the idle circuit and lean it out.
