450 to 500. Head gasket O-rings?

Bolting a gs500 cylinder and pistons on to my gs450 head and I read about head gasket o-rings when talking about the 500? I see the o-rings on the gs500 parts Fiche but not for the gs450. Since I'm using a gs500 head gasket do I need the o-rings that go around the head studs??

Probably best coming from someone else who's done this but if the O rings you mention go under the head nuts inside the head, then I'd say no as the 450 doesn't have them.

I bought a set anyway just in case. Still waiting to hear back from 'tkent02' who's done the upgrade. The 500 cylinder is chamfered around the 4 perimeter head stud holes where the 450 is not. We'll see. I haven't found a solid answer anywhere else.

Not sure but I think I used them. Used the 500 head gasket so I probably did. Not going to pull it apart to see but I think it made sense to use them.

Ah, the cylinders are chamfered under the head? If that's the case it makes perfect sense to use them. I was thinking they were just under the head nuts inside the head... now I understand it makes far more sense to use them
