When i rebuilt my GS750E around 8 years ago, i fitted EBC organic pads at the front. I am not hard on the brakes and i have been generally happy with the front brake performance.
I have noticed that the front brakes are significantly better when good and hot. But the way i ride they don't often get that hot. There is also very little wear on the pads, and i am thinking they may be too hard for my riding style.
Having recently been forced to make an emergency stop, i am thinking it may be better to have softer more responsive when cold pads. I know we are limited on what we can get in the way of different compounds for our old bikes.
So has anyone any experience with different makes of pad, and what may be better for my style of riding?
