    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is for placing reviews for parts, accessories, gear and service as it relates to your GS motorcycle. The key here is "GS Related". There is a bit of latitude here but we don't want to see a review on Maytag washers just because that's what you use to clean your riding jacket in.

Keep your review as factual as possible and please refrain from personal attacks. Posted articles will be reviewed by the Editors and may be removed at their discretion.

So let's make this a useful addition to the forum! A special pat on the back goes to Hap Call for coming up with this great idea.

The views expressed in this forum are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of "The GSResources" or the editors.

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Just wanted to give my opinion on a transaction I made recently. I needed a "new" rear master cylinder for my 79 1000 and probably needed to rebuild my rear caliper. 7981GS Had some lying around he was willing to part with. He even made sure they were in good working condition before packing them up. I ended up with the entire rear brake setup and even a new to me gas tank. I'm happy and would definitely do business with him again. :D

Now, time to get to work putting these parts on.

Yea.... I second that. I needed a carb body to replace a screw up of mine ( broke a float post during rebuild). He went out of his way to rush it to the PO so I could get it for the weekend!

If I remember correctly, I received it two days after we made the deal... NV to MA

If he has something you can use....No Worries!

I agree!

Bought a clubman bar for my cafe project...really nice guy!

Gosh guys. :o
I am a firm believer in "What goes around comes around" and treat others as you would like to be treated.
(That doesn't count when dealing with morons in the political threads. Gloves are off! They are NOT HUMANS! :D )
As for the GS's, we are all in this together aren't we?
Keeping these old relics alive and ridable.

Daniel
