A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Hello, I'm wondering if there is a swing arm with no undercarriage for the mono shock and linkage, instead the mono shock mounts on top of swing arm and angles up to frame.

That said is there a Suzuki model with this type of swing arm that would or could be modified to fit my 82 GSX 750 E and mount a 190/50 tire?

I've got a couple of 2000-ish swing arms to use as shown exampled below but I'm 5'2" this is getting slammed and bobbed and I really don't want the undercarriage.

TIA

I put a Bandit 1200 swingarm and wheel on my GS1150 this one has weld in extentions on it. The Bandit 1250 swingarm is a better choice or looks better. You can get a 1200 swingarm fairly cheep I have a few extras

Can you obtain a straight chain-line with a tire that wide? Saw (photos) of one bike with a big fat tire, and they had to use a jackshaft to improve the chain-line.

Yes this is what I wan't to see one just like that... Bandit 1250 swing arm.

I've been looking at this all day think... think ...think ? I know I could make what I have work but I just don't like the look. I glad I got a idea here as I was ready to change direction and build one. But now maybe I won't have to build one... I'll have to see what's in my piggy bank

I don't know? Until I get the motor in so I can check all my imagining out I dreaming... I need motor mounts and need to build me a means to man handle this motor on my own.
