DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

thnxs for any input:cool:

Hi,

Are you using all stock incandescent bulbs in the blinkers?

Do your front blinkers have dual or single filament bulbs? (Note: dual filament bulbs are used for running lights plus blinkers.)

Thank you for your indulgence,

there aftermarket small style i think there twin filament , but i have no juice to them,or the switch, im thinking i need a motorcycle relay? i tried a 12 gm , it clicks but nothing , i had power to the relay o/g wire, from the fuse box
i just got ****ed off for tonight

thanks a bunch for reply basscliff

Hi,

If they are dual filament then the blinker lead will connect from the flasher and the running light lead will connect to the brown wire in the headlight bucket.

The stock blinker setup wants to "see" a predetermined load for the stock flasher to work. Since you've changed out both (bulbs and flasher) you will have to do some trial-and-error experimentation. Have a look at this recent thread and see if it helps.

i have regular small signals , not led, i didnt want led, so they should work as standard signals i believe, the f'rs, the rear were on with the 2 pron relay, i hooked up the front, changed relay, the relay clicks on as normal, but no power now lol, and the dash lights no power now!, but there is power to the relay, but no where else, so i unhooked them all and will go through again

i was wondering mostly about the 12v auto relay working on a bike, as the bike relay is to pricy for me! it is ridicules ,and the jap bikes i have had in the past were stupid, if one bulb was blown they didnt work:mad:, or if one was unhooked they didnt work:mad:,cause it needed a complete circuit:mad:

USA- safety feature- all work until blown or unhooked:D- someone pass this to those a$sholes in japan would ya
