So I recently scooped up an air box assembly off of ebay. got it in the mail today and while cleaning it up realized that the securing brackets needed for the actual air filter were missing from the filter housing.
Anyone know of a way around this or some type of resolution? I hate to have to order ANOTHER filter housing but the way it sits right now, the filter will just flop around in the housing with nothing securing it against the port.
I thought about some heavy gauge steel wire twisted really tight but then realized that was pretty half-assed. Thought about drilling a hole through the filter housing and bolting the filter to it but then realized that would get in the way of the airbox. I'm still brainstorming but haven't come up with a solution yet... :-k
