A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is for placing reviews for parts, accessories, gear and service as it relates to your GS motorcycle. The key here is "GS Related". There is a bit of latitude here but we don't want to see a review on Maytag washers just because that's what you use to clean your riding jacket in.

Keep your review as factual as possible and please refrain from personal attacks. Posted articles will be reviewed by the Editors and may be removed at their discretion.

So let's make this a useful addition to the forum! A special pat on the back goes to Hap Call for coming up with this great idea.

The views expressed in this forum are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of "The GSResources" or the editors.

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Well, last year I posted how these guys won my business from the shop I had been dealing with...well they did it again. I ordered a set of Kenda Challengers from them and dropped my rims off to have them mounted. For some reason, their supplier was having problems getting the tires to the and it was pushing a few days past when everything was supposed to be finished.

I can't judge a company on how things are when everything goes right...when things were going wrong, this place when above and beyond.

I called to see when things would be ready and the lady said the supplier was having problems and it would be a couple more days. I told her I use the bike for work everyday and needed the tires as soon as possible. She was very polite and said she would see what she could do. I thought that she was blowing me off until, about 10 minutes later, the owner of the shop called. He apologized and said that he couldn't get the Kendas any sooner but he had another option if I was intertested. He offered me a set Of Pirelli's instead...saying that he'd eat the mounting and a few other things on the bill to keep the price the same. He also said, if I took the Pirelli's, he'd put my rims next in line so I could pick them up in an hour. Needless to say I took his offer. When I went to pick them up, he took care of me personally apologizing for something that wasn't even his fault.

To sum up, if you're in the Pittsburgh area, give these guys a try. They specialize in metric bikes and have a few 80's era metrics for sale...including a pretty nice 550E.

How are the Pirellis

How are the Pirellis

compared to the Kendas? I have both just different bikes.
