Any ideas?
I recently took the side covers off to replace some weeping gaskets and took a look at the clutch while I was at it. Everything was within spec so I put it back together, torqued the spring bolts to the 7 ft-lbs as stated in the manual and called it a day.
I've adjusted the clutch cable and free play per Nessism's instructions, all cables in, release lock nut, screw til tension then out 1/4 turn, 1-2mm of free play.
The bike will easily shift from 1-n-2-3 without the clutch pulled in. Then, when in gear, with the clutch pulled in, its much more difficult to push than I ever remember it being.
What have I overlooked or done wrong?
