A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is for placing reviews for parts, accessories, gear and service as it relates to your GS motorcycle. The key here is "GS Related". There is a bit of latitude here but we don't want to see a review on Maytag washers just because that's what you use to clean your riding jacket in.

Keep your review as factual as possible and please refrain from personal attacks. Posted articles will be reviewed by the Editors and may be removed at their discretion.

So let's make this a useful addition to the forum! A special pat on the back goes to Hap Call for coming up with this great idea.

The views expressed in this forum are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of "The GSResources" or the editors.

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I removed the factory anti dive units from my 83 GS1100E. Have owned machine since new. Over the years, replaced the factory units a couple of times because of leaks at the plunger seal.

Tim at Demon Speed Racing manufactures a beautiful and functional 'block off' unit that looks just beautiful. Quality anodized (black or 'bare' aluminum) finish looks factory enough on my GS.

Last year I installed Gold Valve Emulators and Sonic Springs, new fork bushings and seals and wipers etc. Satisfied there too. Emulator install 'defeats' the anti dive units, incidentally. Yes, I know....not ever really effective anyway.

Biggest improvement is less travel in brake lever. And, I do like the uncluttered look of the fork.

COST: About $80.00 delivered. 4 days. Tim, thank you.

Demon Speed Racing billet GS parts[/h]
Demon Speed Racing is proud to present the (almost) complete line of Suzuki anti dive block off plates.

Block off plate is actually a little bit misleading as the fork oil has to flow through the plate in order to give you some sort of damping. A flat plate covering the holes would just lock up the front end making it virtually rigid. So bypass plate would be a better description.

As you can see in the following pic I make three different types. One for the electrically controlled anti dive units on the GSXR1100. The earlier GSXR750 and GS1150 mechanical anti dive units and finally the hydraulically activated GS1100 units.

All 'sets' come with plates ready to install, new o-rings and stainless fasteners. Available in black anodized or clear anodized to match your forks. All kits are the same price. Please contact me at demonspeedracing@gmail.com for questions, pricing and orders.

All GSR members receive 10% off and greater discounts are available when buying 10 or more sets. Happy to ship worldwide.
