A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Hello Fellow GSer's

I'm still bringing my 1980 GS550L back to life. I got my Kerker header and Dyna III ingnition installed. I had planned to install my Dynojet Stage 3 jet kit p/n #3314 and my K&N Dual Pod Filter Kit RC-2382. I pulled my carbs back off this evening and then came upon a real let down.

The 3314.001 Dynojet kit is actually for a 1982 GS550 Katana in which some of you have used on the E & T models and it will work with my L model also. To my dismay, the instructions weren't with my kit. I did get the Dynojet Fact sheet which has a parts list and the base settings for the kit + I got the Troubleshooting guide, but  no installation guide (D10000).

I have installed these kits on previous bikes before without any trouble but, it would be nice to have the instructions so I make sure I get the jet needles shimmed correctly + their are a few other issues that I'm not sure about. :?

 Seems like the Dynojet site has almost all of the PDF files for each of there kits but this one. I've searched the net for this particular file but no luck. Do any of you have the this file saved on your computer or do you know the URL which I can get to it to download it. It is Dynojet Kit # 3314.001 and the fact sheet is D10000.

I plan to give Dynojet a call tomorrow to see if they can help. I thought maybe one of you guys might have a fact sheet and could scan it and send it to me or maybe clue me in on the URL. My email is bjrimel@chartertn.net. Any help would be appreciated.

they lost it  never to be seen agian and they don't care. but your best bet is to just download a install guide for a 750 or sumtin with the same cv style carbs and follow that useing the settings that came with your kit. thats what i had to do.

Mountain, did you ever get the instructions?

I need them also!!!

Thx.

aschessla, First Timer is right. Just use the 750 install guide and use the settings listed with your kit. I've been inactive on this forum for awhile.

Sorry!!
