    A note to old forum members...
    I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

    Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

    Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is for placing reviews for parts, accessories, gear and service as it relates to your GS motorcycle. The key here is "GS Related". There is a bit of latitude here but we don't want to see a review on Maytag washers just because that's what you use to clean your riding jacket in.

    Keep your review as factual as possible and please refrain from personal attacks. Posted articles will be reviewed by the Editors and may be removed at their discretion.

    So let's make this a useful addition to the forum! A special pat on the back goes to Hap Call for coming up with this great idea.

  • Returning Visitors

    If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

    If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Has anyone purchased aftermarket parts shipping from Hong Kong? If so how long did it take to get them?
 
Usually quick, less than a week.

I have bought camera stuff, electronic doodads, some bike stuff from there.

Don't remember ever having to wait very long.
 
Bought a few things from China without any issues...delivery was surprisingly quick....
 
Depends, I have had some stuff in less than a week, my last item made me sweat a little at month but overall shipping from China, Japan and Hong Kong is fine

hi guys,,,, a while ago i purchased a set of chrome pods from some province in china ,,,,, and paid by paypal,,, so i was expecting to claim,,,, No that didn,t happen about 7-10 days later this well packed carton arrived .. yep my pods for my 1980 gs1000e ,, all in bubble plastic sealed bags and again in sealed bags over each item , nice chrome ,,, and chrome clips,,, and the mesh is nice as well ,,,the foam is good if you hgold it to the sunlight you can easily see light ... had them on just yesterday and they looked great they seemed to work well and all up 20 bucks delivered so i cann,t complain regards oldgrumpy :D
