Runs really good at idle with a couple burps here and there. Small problem is when I run it, it has gas dripping out of the exhaust. Idle is set at 1025 no choke. I've been through the carbs 3 times now, new jets, needles/seats, float adjusted to ~23mm (tape measure
) I just replaced the petcock/diaphragm assembly. Just replaced the plugs/wires on it. Stock airbox with new filter, and new vacuum lines ran due to cracking. I've tried adjusting the air/fuel mix but I can't find the screw for it... I see a jet in the airbox side of the carb, and that's all. I've been through the forums and on BikeCliff's website, studied my service manual going on over 40+ hours. I think I am missing something very simple, yet I can't figure it out.
New thing... When I hit the throttle now, it dies. I'm stumped, out of smokes and frustrated
'81 GS850L 4-1 Jardine exhaust, stepped pilots to .45 everything else is stock.
ray:Any help will be super appreciated before I just take a rag and blow it sky high
Thanks in advance,
Jim
