A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

fing a hole stiffed me on buying my truck so will have to wait on paint. err that $1k would have finished my bike.well maby

i've been re-reading this thread and saw that those pistons are 11.5:1 compression. just wanted to ask if that's correct and if ok/safe for street use?

i don't know what compression ill get. I asked for around 10.5. I will have to use high test but some of the new bikes use 11+ compression. the Hayabusa has 12.5:1 and runs on pump gas. with the Dyna 2000 ignition i can adjust the timing just by turning a knob so i probably could run it on anything.

I'm having Paul Gast build my motor. Hes giving me a deal on it and said he will do it personally. I'm thinking it would be a good idea for him to do it. that way I know its done right. and i have way way to much into this to have the motor go boom because iv never built a GS1100 motor befor. Iv built car motors and a KZ550 motor befor but not a GS. I'm hoping ill have this all done by summer.
